Dwayne Johnson recently spoke about the sad news he received on the first day of the shoot of Red Notice. The actor got the news of his father’s death on the first day of filming of Red Notice. Dwayne Johnson said that Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot were a major support for him on the sets of Red Notice.
In an interview, Dwayne Johnson spoke about the first day shoot of Red Notice, “On the first day of filming, my dad died.” He also mentioned that Ryan used to welcome him when he returned on the sets of Red Notice. “The moment I walked in the door, Ryan gave me a big hug and said, ‘I got you, man’. The love, bond and brotherhood are there,” added Dwayne.
Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds have been friends for around two decades. They first met at MTV’s Spring Break in 2002.
While speaking about Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson said, “Gal always takes care of the people around her and has the most positive presence. Gal would get the giggles, then I would get the giggles, and then we would all go. I’ve never laughed as hard as I did on this film,” he added.
According to Hindustan Times, the review of the film is as follows, “The plot is as thin as it gets. New, lazy twists are conjured after every 20 minutes when Ryan’s nonsense couldn’t hold up the film any longer. Tragic backstories about absentee dads are shoehorned in with little effect. As Ryan lies in bed, looking all sad and recalling how his dad left him for a watch, you cannot help but expect it all to end with another silly ‘gotcha’ joke. Don’t blame us if we don’t believe the boy who cried wolf.”
