Courteney Cox was recently seen praising her boyfriend Johnny McDaid through an Instagram post. Johnny McDaid, who is the boyfriend of Courteney Cox bagged a Grammy nomination for Ed Sheeran’s song Bad Habits in the category of Song of the Year.

The nominations for the 64th Grammy Awards were released on November 23. Courteney Cox took to her Instagram account and praised Johnny McDaid by saying, “Somebody was nominated for a Grammy (song of the year)! So proud of you.” The couple looked lovely in the photo, in which they have hugged each other.

Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have always been open about their relationship. They have been together for around 8 years. 

“I’m crying, this is so sweet,” one fan wrote.

“You make such a great couple [heart emoji],” another fan wrote.

Courteney Cox is known for her role as Monica in the sitcom “Friends.” She will also be seen in the upcoming The 5th film in the Scream franchise which is to be released on January 14. The cast of Scream 5 comprises Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, and David Arquette along with new additions- Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Dylan Minnette, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Mikey Madison, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

Cox and boyfriend Johnny McDaid were also seen enjoying some Japanese food.

Courteney Cox was seen wearing a black sweater and a grey denim and Johnny McDaid wore a leather jacket along with black jeans.

“He’s not my fiancé. We were engaged to be married, but now we’re just together,” Courteney said earlier in an interview. “We broke off our engagement and he moved to England. Then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before. Everything’s better.” She added, “The distance — after that breakup, we were apart for six months — that really showed us a lot.”

Scream 5 also released another poster. “Getting ready for friendskilling,” the caption alongside the poster.

Wes Craven, who directed the first 4 parts of this Scream franchise, passed away in 2015. Scream 5 will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

The official synopsis of the film is as follows: “Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. One of the most interesting things would be that Courteney Cox will be starring along side her ex-husband David Arquette.
